First Aid Demonstration :

Sunstroke, also known as heatstroke, is a life-threatening condition in which the body’s heat-regulating system fails due to exposure to high temperatures. It happens when the body is unable to rid itself of excess heat due to vigorous activity or a very hot environment.

First Aid helps ensure that the right methods of administering medical assistance are provided. Knowing how to help a person is just as important in emergency situations.
First aid skills are kept simple on purpose so that students can remember and use them in an emergency to save at least one’s life. One set of goals of first aid is called the “Three P’s”: Preserve life – stop the person from dying. Prevent further injury – stop the person from being injured even more. Knowledge of first aid promotes a healthy, secure and a safer environment, and instils confidence amongst students. Basic first aid knowledge is very helpful in dealing with trauma situations.
Being trained to provide first aid is useful to oneself and society.
